Privacy Policy

When you create an account we store your email address, a display name, and your username. If you sign in with Google, we receive your Google name, email address and profile picture to build your profile. Passwords are stored only as secure hashes by our authentication provider — we never see them.

We record plays, likes, playlists and listening patterns (how long you listen, what you skip). We use this to personalize what you discover, power features like Fresh Slop and Slop Picks, count plays on tracks, and understand how the service is used so we can improve it. Play counts on public tracks are visible to everyone; your personal listening history is not.

If you upload tracks, we store the audio files, cover art, titles, descriptions and any tool credits you provide. This is required to host and stream your music. You keep ownership of what you upload — see our Terms for the license you grant us to stream it. Tracks you upload are public and can appear in Discover, search and on shareable track pages.

We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies (and equivalent browser storage) to keep you signed in and remember your playback session. We also collect aggregate, privacy-respecting usage analytics — pages visited, approximate device type — to understand traffic. We do not run advertising trackers and we do not sell your data.

Your data is shared only with the service providers that operate Sloprocks (hosting, authentication, email delivery), and only to the extent needed to run the service. We may disclose information if required by law. We never sell personal data.

Email privacy@sloprocks.ai from the address on your account to delete your account and data — profile, uploads, likes, playlists and listening history — and we'll take care of it. Aggregate statistics that can no longer be linked to you may be retained.
